At this week’s LALA (Lunch And Learn Around), we had the opportunity to learn more about Henny, one of our EOA members whose interior design work is steadily making its mark across Beijing and beyond.

Henny runs a dynamic interior design company in Beijing, serving both large-scale commercial projects and individual clients, including apartments and private villas. His work spans multiple cities across China, and he collaborates with a diverse range of clients—from well-known celebrities to major brands such as Huawei, helping elevate modern design concepts with his signature creative approach.

Like many in our EO community, Henny’s path into entrepreneurship wasn’t traditional. His journey has been filled with unexpected turns, periods of reinvention, and defining moments that shaped him into the entrepreneur he is today. These stories remind us that entrepreneurship rarely follows a straight line—yet it’s in those twists and challenges where growth truly happens.

This is exactly why we host LALA events.

They give us the space to understand the people behind the businesses, to hear their stories, and to strengthen the sense of family that makes EO so unique. The more we know about one another, the more we can support, collaborate, and grow together.
